Gospodarzem III i IV etapu Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021 będzie Malbork – około 40 tysięczne miasto nad Nogatem, we wschodniej części województwa pomorskiego. 

The 3^rd and 4^th stages of Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021 will be held in Malbork – a town of about 40 thousand inhabitants, situated on the Nogat River in the eastern part of Pomerania Province.

Największą atrakcją Malborka jest jedna z najbardziej znanych i rozpoznawalnych budowli na świecie – zamek w Malborku. Ten XIII-wieczny, największy gotycki zespół zamkowy na świecie, będzie też terenem bezpośredniej rywalizacji zawodników podczas III i IV etapu Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021.

Meta obydwu tych etapów zawodów zlokalizowana będzie na Wałach von Plauena skąd rozciąga się wspaniała panorama wschodniej pierzei zamku. Dzięki Burmistrzowi Malborka p. Markowi Charzewskiemu oraz dyrekcji Muzeum Zamkowego w Malborku zawodnicy będą mieli też okazję biegać zarówno po Zamku Niskim, jak i wszystkich średniowiecznych budowlach wokół głównych obiektów zamku. Podbiegi na wałach obronnych, mnóstwo zaułków wśród ruin i średniowiecznych budowli, wymagać będą od zawodników doskonałej nawigacji oraz dużej wytrzymałości szybkościowej.

Po raz pierwszy w historii Malbork będzie gościł jakiekolwiek zawody w biegu na orientację dlatego mamy nadzieję, że będzie to dla zawodników wyjątkowe przeżycie. Mamy też nadzieję, że szeroko będziecie się też dzielić tymi emocjami z innymi.

The greatest attraction of Malbork is one of the most famous and recognizable buildings in the world, i.e. the Castle of the Teutonic Order. This 13^th-century, Gothic castle complex is the largest structure of this type in the world, and will also be the area of direct competition between the participants during the 3^rd and 4^th stages of Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021.

The finish line of both these stages will be located on Von Plauen Ramparts offering a wonderful panorama of the eastern frontage of the castle. By courtesy of the Mayor of Malbork, Marek Charzewski, and the management of the Malbork Castle Museum, the competitors will also be able to run in the Lower Castle as well as all the medieval structures around the main castle buildings. Ascents at the ramparts as well as numerous alleyways within the castle ruins and medieval buildings will require excellent navigation skills and speed endurance.

For the first time in history, Malbork is going to host any kind of orienteering competition so we hope it will be a unique experience for our competitors. We also believe that you will share these emotions with others!
