Miasto i Gmina Dzierzgoń partnerem Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021 / Town and Commune of Dzierzgoń as partner of Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021

Miło nam poinformować, że Miasto i Gmina Dzierzgoń została kolejnym partnerem Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021, a Pani burmistrz Jolanta Szewczun przyjęła zaproszenie do Komitetu Honorowego zawodów.

We are pleased to announce that the Town and Commune of Dzierzgoń has become another partner of Pomorze Sprint Cup 2021, and Mayor Jolanta Szewczun accepted the invitation to the Honorary Committee of our competition.

Dzierzgoń to liczące 5,5 tys. mieszkańców urokliwe miasto na wschodnim krańcu województwa pomorskiego. Szczególnym miejscem dla Dzierzgonia jest wzgórze zamkowe z ruinami XIII-wiecznego zamku krzyżackiego, skąd rozciąga sią najlepszy widok na miasto i wzgórza wokół niego. Dla zawodników będzie to najbardziej górzysty etap, a trasy prowadzące przez górę zamkową na pewno pozostaną w nogach zawodników.

Również Dzierzgoń po raz pierwszy będzie gościł zawodników biegających na orientację.  W mieście jest jednak liczny klub biegacza „Dzierzgoń Team” więc liczymy, że znajdą się wśród nich nowi entuzjaści obiegania z mapą.

Dzierzgoń is a charming town with 5.5 thousand inhabitants, situated in the eastern part of Pomerania Province. A place of interest in Dzierzgoń is undoubtedly its castle hill with the ruins of the 13^th-century Teutonic castle, from which spreads the best view of the town and the surrounding hills. Our competitors will find this stage the most mountainous, and the routes running across the castle hill will certainly be felt by Pomorze Sprint Cup racers!

Dzierzgoń will host an orienteering competition for the first time in its history. There is a running club operating in the town; it is called Dzierzgoń Team and it gathers a lot of members, so we hope that among them we will find new enthusiasts of orienteering races.
