Gniew i Prabuty gospodarzami I i II etapu PSC 2019 / Gniew and Prabuty – hosts of Stage I and II of PSC 2019

Kolejne samorządy, na których terenie rozgrywane będzie Pomorze Sprint Cup 2019 w biegach na orientację, zdecydowały się wesprzeć finansowo i organizacyjnie pierwszą edycję naszych zawodów.

The next local governments, on the territory of which the orienteering Pomorze Sprint Cup 2019 will be held, decided to support the first edition of our contest financially and organizationally.

Partnerami PSC 2019 zostały Miasto i Gmina Gniew oraz Miasto i Gmina Prabuty. Do obydwu tych miastach biegi na orientację zawitają po raz pierwszy w historii i mamy nadzieję, że powstające na potrzeby Pomorze Sprint Cup 2019 mapy w tych miastach będą początkiem rozwoju biegów na orientację w kolejnych miastach województwa pomorskiego. Zarówno Gniew jak i Prabuty to miasta z kilkusetletnią historią i ciekawą architekturą. Meta I etapu zlokalizowana będzie na terenie średniowiecznego zamku krzyżackiego w Gniewie, a meta II etapu w centrum Prabut, w okolicach zabytkowej, XIX-wiecznej fontanny Rolanda. Trasy obydwu etapów zlokalizowane będą w ścisłych centrach tych miast więc będzie okazja  zobaczyć kawałek historii Pomorza.

The partners of PSC 2019 are the Town and Commune of Gniew and the Town and Commune of Prabuty. Both towns will host the orienteering runs for the first time in their history, and we hope that the maps created there for Pomorze Sprint Cup 2019 will be just the beginning of the development of orienteering in other towns of Pomerania Province. Both Gniew and Prabuty have existed throughout several hundred years of history and can boast interesting architecture. The finish line of the first stage will be located in the medieval castle of the Teutonic Order in Gniew, and the finish line of the second stage – in the centre of Prabuty, in the vicinity of the historic 19^th-century Roland’s Fountain. The routes of the both stages will be located in the very hearts of these towns, so you will have an opportunity to see a piece of the history of Pomerania.
